World Environment Day celebrations in Rashtrotthana Schools: Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future

June 5: World Environment Day was celebrated across 25+ Rashtrotthana Schools in the state by making seed balls, planting saplings, distributing plants, dressing up in themed costumes, organizing walk and bicycle rallies, listening to awareness messages and taking a pledge for environmental protection. Notably, at the Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra in Vijayanagar, Mysuru, students from classes 6 to 9 prepared 1,000 Paper Bags under the “Leave Plastic – Hold Paper” campaign.

ಜೂನ್ 5: ರಾಜ್ಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಇರುವ 25+ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಸೀಡ್‍ ಬಾಲ್ ತಯಾರಿಸಿ, ಗಿಡ ನೆಟ್ಟು, ಸಸಿ ಹಂಚಿ, ಛದ್ಮವೇಷ ಹಾಕಿ, ನಡಿಗೆ-ಸೈಕಲ್ ಜಾಥಾ ಮಾಡಿ, ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಸಂದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿವಿಯಾಗಿ, ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ಮಾಡಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ವಿಜಯನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ “ಪ್ಲಾಷ್ಟಿಕ್ ಬಿಡಿ – ಪೇಪರ್ ಹಿಡಿ” ಅಭಿಯಾನದಡಿ 6-9ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು 1000 ಪೇಪರ್‍ ಬ್ಯಾಗ್‍ಗಳನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸಿದ್ದು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
