Social Harmony Requires an End to Feelings of Superiority and Inferiority

Bengaluru, July 9: For social harmony to take root, feelings of superiority and inferiority must be brought under control. To achieve this, people must learn, create, play and dine together.

In this spirit, a community meal was organised as part of the certificate distribution programme for trainees who had completed free tailoring training at Rashtrotthana Seva Vasati in Indira Colony (Harijan Colony). It was a warm and well-organised meal, with delicious dishes of 18 varieties prepared by families from around 15 households.

Dr. Rajeshwari, District President of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, also joined the initiative.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜುಲೈ 9: ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮರಸತೆ ನೆಲೆಸಲು ಮೇಲೆಂಬ ಅಹಮಿಕೆ, ಕೀಳೆಂಬ ಕೊರಗು ಹದ್ದುಬಸ್ತಿಗೆ ಬರಲೇಬೇಕು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಯುವುದು, ಕಲೆಯುವುದು, ಆಡುವುದು, ಉಣ್ಣುವುದೆಲ್ಲ ಆಗಬೇಕು. ಆ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದಿರಾ ಕಾಲೋನಿ (ಹರಿಜನ ಕಾಲೋನಿ) ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಸೇವಾವಸತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಚಿತ ಹೊಲಿಗೆ ತರಬೇತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದ ಪ್ರಶಿಕ್ಷಣಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರ ವಿತರಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಭೋಜನವನ್ನೂ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಸುಮಾರು 15 ಮನೆಗಳಿಂದ 18 ಬಗೆಯ ರುಚಿಕಟ್ಟಾದ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಭೋಜ್ಯಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಚ್ಚುಕಟ್ಟಾದ ಊಟವಾಯಿತು. ವಿಶ್ವ ಹಿಂದೂ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧ‍್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ. ರಾಜೇಶ್ವರಿಯವರೂ ಸಾಥ್ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
