Bengaluru, July 28: Rashtrotthana Hospital, in collaboration with MeDeVision, conducted the MeDeSurge Suturing Skill Workshop, offering medical students and young doctors an immersive hands-on training experience in essential surgical skills.

The workshop was inaugurated by Dr Nagesh N S, Director, Institute of Gastrointestinal Sciences and Organ Transplantation, and Col (Dr) Anand Shankar K, Medical Director, Rashtrotthana Hospital.

Designed to bridge the gap between theory and practice, the workshop enabled participants to refine their suturing techniques, strengthen their practical surgical skills, and build greater confidence in performing basic surgical procedures under expert guidance.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜುಲೈ 28: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯು MeDeVision ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ‘MeDeSurge Suturing Skill Workshop’ ಅನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತು. ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಯುವ ವೈದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಕೌಶಲಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವು ಉತ್ತಮ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನು Institute of Gastrointestinal Sciences and Organ Transplantationನ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ನಾಗೇಶ್ ಎನ್. ಎಸ್. ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಕರ್ನಲ್ (ಡಾ.) ಆನಂದ್ ಶಂಕರ್ ಕೆ. ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.

ಸೈದ್ಧಾಂತಿಕ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಅನುಭವದ ನಡುವಿನ ಅಂತರವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದಲ್ಲಿ, ತಜ್ಞರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದವರು ಹೊಲಿಗೆ ಹಾಕುವ (Suturing) ತಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ, ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಕೌಶಲಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಸುಧಾರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಇದು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಯಿತು.
