RVK-Banashankari Deploys Homegrown EVM in Student Elections

Bengaluru, June 16: Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari achieved a historic milestone during the Student Council Elections 2026 by successfully deploying a custom-built, indigenous Electronic Voting Machine (EVM). Designed, engineered, and manufactured exclusively within Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) of the School. This technology-integrated solution modernised the institutional election process. By transitioning from Paper Ballots to Digital Voting, this initiative aligns perfectly with the national vision of a Digital India.

By successfully implementing this EVM project, RVK-Banashankari has demonstrated how theoretical STEM concepts can be turned into practical solutions. This project provided the students with invaluable hands-on experience in electronics, coding, design and manufacturing, proving that the next generation of innovators is thriving right here in ATL.

The students of a neighbouring Govt School were also invited and enlightened through this experiential learning opportunity.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜೂನ್ 16: ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸಂಘ ಚುನಾವಣೆ 2026ರ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಯಂ-ನಿರ್ಮಿತ, ಸ್ವದೇಶಿ ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ ವೋಟಿಂಗ್ ಮೆಷಿನ್ (EVM) ಅನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಳಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬನಶಂಕರಿ ಒಂದು ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಮೈಲಿಗಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಿತು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಅಟಲ್ ಟಿಂಕರಿಂಗ್ ಲ್ಯಾಬ್ (ATL) ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡಿ, ತಯಾರಿಸಲಾದ ಈ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ-ಸಂಯೋಜಿತ ಪರಿಹಾರವು ಸಾಂಸ್ಥಿಕ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯನ್ನು ಆಧುನೀಕರಿಸಿತು. ಕಾಗದದ ಮತಪತ್ರಗಳಿಂದ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಮತದಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮೂಲಕ, ಈ ಉಪಕ್ರಮವು ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ದೂರದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದಿಕೆಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಈ EVM ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ, RVK-ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯು ಸೈದ್ಧಾಂತಿಕ STEM ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಪರಿಹಾರಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸಬಹುದೆಂದು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ಸ್, ಕೋಡಿಂಗ್, ವಿನ್ಯಾಸ ಹಾಗೂ ತಯಾರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಅನುಭವವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿ, ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯ ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರಕರು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ATLನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಸಾಬೀತುಪಡಿಸಿತು.

ಪಕ್ಕದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಹ ಈ ಅನುಭವಾತ್ಮಕ ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಅವಕಾಶದ ಮೂಲಕ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿ ಜ್ಞಾನೋದಯಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
