‘Matruvandana – Indian Culture’ Grandeur Marks Rashtrotsava 2025-26 at Rashtrotthana PU College, Udupi

‘Rashtrotsava 2025-26’ – themed around ‘Matruvandana’ and Indian Culture – was filled with grandeur at Rashtrotthana Pre-University College – Udupi

Keshavananagara, Cherkady, Jan. 4: The celebration of Rashtrotsava 2025-26, themed around ‘Matruvandana – Indian Culture’, was held with great festivity at Rashtrotthana Pre-University College, Udupi. The event was graced by Dr. Ranjitha Shetty, Associate Dean of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal; Sri Na. Dinesh Hegde, General Secretary of Rashtrotthana Parishath; Sri Vasanthakumar M. S., Correspondent of Rashtrotthana Vidyakendra and Pre-University Colleges; Sri Rishiraj, Secretary of the Managing Committee; and Smt. Bhagyashree Aithal, Principal of the College.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ranjitha Shetty said that in Indian culture, the family is the first school. The family nurtures the emotional and moral strength of children. Strong families build strong individuals, and strong individuals build a strong nation. Rashtrotthana Educational Institution is unlike any other — it shapes students through value-based education to participate in nation-building. It teaches that the future is built through character, success through values, and responsibility through achievement.

Speaking introductorily, Sri Na. Dinesh Hegde said that Rashtrotthana Parishath carries out its social service in four fields — literature, education, service, and health. As the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh completes 100 years and Rashtrotthana Parishath marks 60 years, the organization continues its activities inspired by the Sangh. In the past, children received values through family and society, but today it is schools that must impart values to students. Students should imbibe these values and become ambassadors to the world, spreading those values far and wide.

ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಡಾ. ರಂಜಿತಾ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯವರು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಟುಂಬವೇ ಮೊದಲ ಪಾಠಶಾಲೆ. ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ, ನೈತಿಕ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಬಲವಾದ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು ಬಲವಾದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುತ್ತವೆ, ಬಲವಾದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಇತರ ಎಲ್ಲ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಂತಲ್ಲ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೌಲ್ಯಯುತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ಮುಂದೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗುವಂತೆ ರೂಪಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ಭವಿಷ್ಯ, ಮೌಲ್ಯದಿಂದ ಯಶಸ್ಸು, ಸಾಧನೆಯಿಂದ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಶ್ರೀ ನಾ ದಿನೇಶ್ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆಯವರು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಸೇವೆ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ, ಈ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ತನ್ನ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕೈಂಕರ್ಯ ವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕ ಸಂಘಕ್ಕೆ 100 ವರ್ಷ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿಗೆ 60 ವರ್ಷದ ಅರಳಿ ಮರಳುವ ಹೊತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಂಘದ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಹಿಂದೆ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜದ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಮೌಲ್ಯ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಇಂದು ಶಾಲೆಗಳೇ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೌಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮೌಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಲಿತು ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮೌಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪಸರಿಸುವಂತಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.
