‘Jayatu Bharatam’ Marks the First Rashtrotsava at Rashtrotthana Vidyakendra – Udupi

Keshavanagara, Cherkady, Jan. 2: At the grand stage set within the vast grounds of Rashtrotthana Vidyakendra – Udupi, the national festival titled ‘Jayatu Bharatam: Our Nation, Our Pride’ was celebrated magnificently, featuring cultural programmes including Yakshagana and Huli Vesha (tiger dance), along with historical narratives of Rani Abbakka, Hedgewar Ji, Guruji, and others.

Present on the dais were Sri Na. Dinesh Hegde, General Secretary of Rashtrotthana Parishath; Sri Vasanth Kumar, Correspondent of Rashtrotthana South Zone CBSE Schools and Pre-University College; Smt. Poornima S. D., Headmistress of the school; Sri Sadhu Saliyan, President of the Rashtrotthana – Udupi Managing Committee; and Sri Rishiraj, Secretary.

Presiding over and inaugurating the programme, Sri Na. Dinesh Hegde observed a minute of silence in memory of Dr. Vinay Hegde — a compassionate leader dedicated to the upliftment of society, a titan of the business world yet a man who never forgot his roots — and prayed for eternal peace for his soul.

He then expressed gratitude to parents for choosing Rashtrotthana institutions for their children’s future and introduced how Rashtrotthana institutions actively work to provide value-based education to children. He elaborated on how Rashtrotthana Parishath’s affiliate organizations, Tapas and Sadhana, support talented students from rural areas, and also detailed the achievements of alumni. He then spoke at length about the five transformations: social harmony, family awakening, environmental conservation, indigenous lifestyle, and civic discipline.

Following the formal programme, the cultural events presented under the theme ‘Jayatu Bharatam – Our Nation, Our Pride’ were extraordinarily unique, innovative, and grand — evoking the rich roots of Indian culture while serving as a resolve for the building of a glorious nation.

The event was attended in large numbers by many members of Rashtrotthana Parishath, members of the school’s managing committee, representatives from various Rashtrotthana schools, parents, and local residents, all of whom added to the splendour of the occasion.

The formal programme was compered by students Arjun and Nihira. Sambhrama Nelli extended the welcome, and Brahmi offered the vote of thanks. The cultural programmes were compered by Vedika, Adhya Bhat, Savitru Kiran, and Aarush Shetty.

ಕೇಶವನಗರ, ಚೇರ್ಕಾಡಿ, ಜ.2: ರಾಷ್ಟೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಉಡುಪಿಯ ವಿಶಾಲ ಮೈದಾನದೊಳಗಿನ ಭವ್ಯ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಯತು ಭಾರತಮ್: ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶ, ನಮ್ಮ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ಎಂಬ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಸವವು ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ, ಹುಲಿವೇಷಗಳೇ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಣಿ ಅಬ್ಬಕ್ಕ, ಹೆಡಗೇವಾರ್‍ ಜೀ, ಗುರೂಜೀ ಮೊದಲಾದವರ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಕಥಾನಕಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ದಿವ್ಯವೂ, ಭವ್ಯವೂ ಆಗಿ ಮೂಡಿಬಂದಿತು.

ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್‍ನ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ನಾ ದಿನೇಶ್ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ವಲಯದ ಸಿಬಿಎಸ್‌ಸಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪದವಿಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಕರೆಸ್ಪಾಡೆಂಟ್ ಆಗಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ವಸಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮಾ ಎಸ್ ಡಿ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ – ಉಡುಪಿ ಸಂಚಾಲನಾ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಾಧು ಸಾಲಿಯಾನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಿಷಿರಾಜ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿ, ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ, ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಶ್ರೀ ನಾ ದಿನೇಶ್ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆಯವರು ಸಮಾಜದ ಏಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಮಿಡಿದ ಕರುಣಾ ಸಾಗರ, ಉದ್ಯಮ ಲೋಕದ ದಿಗ್ಗಜರಾದರೂ, ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಗುಣವನ್ನು ಮರೆಯದ ಧೀಮಂತ ನಾಯಕ ಡಾ. ವಿನಯ್ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆಯವರ ಅಗಲಿಕೆಗೆ ಒಂದು ನಿಮಿಷದ ಮೌನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗೈದು, ಅವರ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಿರಶಾಂತಿ ಬಯಸಿದರು.

ನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಭವಿಷ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಯುತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಹೇಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಪ್ರವೃತ್ತವಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಅಂಗ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಾದ ತಪಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧನಾಗಳು ಹೇಗೆ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣಭಾಗದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾನ್ವಿತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೆರವಾಗುತ್ತಿವೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಓದಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮಾಡಿದ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ತದನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಂಚ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಗಳಾದ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯ, ಕುಟುಂಬ ಪ್ರಬೋಧನ, ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ, ಸ್ವದೇಶೀ ಜೀವನಶೈಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಗರಿಕ ಶಿಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ಪಾಲನೆ ಕುರಿತು ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ವಲಯದ ಸಿಬಿಎಸ್‌ಸಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪದವಿಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಕರೆಸ್ಪಾಡೆಂಟ್ ಆಗಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ವಸಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮಾ ಎಸ್ ಡಿ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ – ಉಡುಪಿ ಸಂಚಾಲನಾ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಾಧು ಸಾಲಿಯಾನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಿಷಿರಾಜ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಸಭಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಯತು ಭಾರತಮ್ – ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶ, ನಮ್ಮ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ಎಂಬ ಶೀರ್ಷಿಕೆಯಡಿ ಮೂಡಿಬಂದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಭಾರತದ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಬೇರುಗಳ ಸ್ಮರಣೆಗೆ ಮಾಡುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭವ್ಯವಾದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವಾಗಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವಿಭಿನ್ನ, ವಿನೂತನ ಹಾಗೂ ವೈಭವಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಿಬಂದವು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಅನೇಕ ಸದಸ್ಯರು, ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸಂಚಾಲನಾ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರು, ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು, ಪೋಷಕರು, ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಚೆಂದಗಾಣಿಸಿದರು.

ಸಭಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾದ ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಹಿರಾ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಸಂಭ್ರಮ ನೆಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ, ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಿ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ವೇದಿಕ, ಆದ್ಯಾ ಭಟ್, ಸವಿತೃ ಕಿರಣ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರುಷ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.
